Tiny Habits
Start so small it feels silly, attach it to something you already do, and celebrate. A kind, research-based way to…
BJ Fogg is a behaviour scientist whose research at Stanford University explored how technology and design influence behaviour. He founded the Behavior Design Lab and developed the Fogg Behavior Model.
Through his Tiny Habits programme and book, he has taught many people to create change by starting with very small behaviours.
Fogg argues that behaviour happens when motivation, ability and a prompt come together, and that people change best by feeling good, not by feeling bad. Tiny behaviours anchored to existing routines and followed by celebration grow naturally.
